Scene Event Spamthread Eleven - Tickets available now!

Hmm, there was a moment where the CMS went slightly nuts and displayed deprecated content data. This happened in the weekend before the relaunch. You may have been an unlucky victim of circumstance.

Sucks that you can't make it, but don't let that stop you to try anyway -we've been making sure that SE got pushed further into the weekend this year (it used to be a mid-week date).

My mainproblem is that I have to work even on Saturday until the late evening and I need to make vacation plans about half a year in advance.

Am I the only one who fails to see the price of 265 DKK on this page: https://partyticket.net/se2k5/checkout/ (as mentioned on this page: http://www.se2k.dk/store/tickets.html)

International orders are charged in Norwegian Crowns, not Danish ones. This is not a diabolical masterplan plan to get to your wallet, it is just the way International Orders are handled. The Norwegian Crown has a lower exchange rate, so the number may look a bit inflated.

Don't get me wrong, but the last time I've visited xe.com NOK didn't look that international. My theory is that it's a good way to hide the correct fee behind some strange currency no one really uses. ;)
Haha, I just need to repost something other: http://www.sceneevent.dk/compos/index.html

madenmann: seriously, I have had qualms about partyticket charging norwegian crowns myself, but it's all pretty much as-is. You can always decide to pay at the door. At a higher fee, but damn then those danish people sho' didn't rob ya! :)

The only PTN-based party that doesn't have the crazy DKK/NOK/WTF currency scheme is Asm. Considering Finland uses euros as currency, that's not completely weird, now is it?

Well..Asm is so large they can probably force through such a change in PTN. It doesn't affect danish partys anyway, they use the danish crown.

You see, the danish think it's nice to be in EU so they can export meat and enforce schengen regulations to avoid more immigrants. But god be damned if EU wants them to give up the crown or something like that.
You just reminded me of a good use of the prizemoney we got for the Buenzli invitation ;)

haha.. the danish crown is even pegged to the euro. There is absolutely no advantage of having it around. Another fine example of why real democracy is not a good thing.

Update:

Just a couple of days left to pre-order one of these:
BB Image

Per usual they are available at the [a href="http://partyticket.net/se2k5/checkout"]store[/a] only, we're not planning on selling any at the party itself.

Shifter: It sucks if you have to create an account at PTN just to see how much the shirts cost. However, please bring mine to Evoke.
